The diagonal makes a right angled triangle with the length and the breadth of a rectangle.

breadth = √[(diagonal)²-(length)²]

breadth = √[(50)²-(48)²]

breadth = √[(50-48)(50+48)]

breadth = √[(2(98)]

breadth = √(196) = 14

Area = (length)(breadth) = (48)(14) = 672

Hence, the answer is 672m²

 length^2+ breadth^2=diagonal^2 \\  \\So breadth=\sqrt{50^2−48^2} \\  \\ Breadth=14m \\ Area=48×14=672m^2
