Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

BC= AD=15CM.

DC=AB=24CM.

DF=12CM.

EC=8CM.

BE = 15-8 = 7cm

Now,

Area of triangle ADF= 1/2x DFxAD

= 1/2x12x15=90cm^2.-----i

Area of triangle ECF= 1/2x FC x EC

=1/2x 12x 8 = 48cm^2-------ii

Area of triangle ABE= 1/2 x BE x AB

= 1/ 2 x 7 x 24=84cm^2------iii

Area of square ABCD = AB x BC

= 24 x 15= 360cm^2--------iv

Area of shaded region = Area of sq - Area of traingle i + traingle ii + triangle iii

= 360 - (90 + 48 + 84)

= 360 - 222

= 138cm^2

Therefore,Option c is the answer 138cm^2.
