It's Pretty simple,

Area of Shaded region = Area of Semi circle - Area of Right angled Triangle,
Every triangle in semi circle touching the top side will suspend 90°,

Given that PQ = 24 cm and PR = 7 cm,
=> Area of Traingle = 1/2 * 24 *7 = 84 cm²,

Radius of Circle = (√(24²+7²))/2 Since It's a right angles triangle QR is diameter and QR/2 is radius,

=> Radius = 25 cm,

Area of Semi circle = πr²/2 = (22/7 * 25 * 25) / 2 (Assuming π = 22/7),
=> Area = 982.14 cm² nearly,

Now area of shaded region = 982.14 - 84 cm²,
=> Area = 898.14 cm² Approximately,

So therefore area of shaded region = 898.14 cm² approximately,

Hope you understand, Have a great day !
