The area of shaded region is 328 cm^2

the area of trapezium = 1/2 *(sum of parallel sides)*height

therefore, the area of trapezium 1  = 1/2*(30+22)*4

                                                         = 104 cm^2

                 the area of trapezium 2 =  1/2*(34+26)*4

                                                          = 120 cm^2

                 the area of trapezium 3  = 1/2*(30+22)*4

                                                         = 104 cm^2

now, The sum of the area all trapezium = the area of shaded region

          120+104+104 = 328 cm^2 =  the area of shaded region
