Consider the large cricle

radius = 10 cm

Area = πr²

= 3.14 × 100

= 314cm²

Consider the small ciricle

radius = 3 cm

Area = πr²

= 3.14 × 9

= 28.26cm²

AREA OF = area of - area of

SHADED PART large circle small circle

= 314 - 28.26

= 285.74cm²

Answer:

Area of small circle = 3.14 r ^2

= 22/7 × 3 × 3

= 28.26 cm^2

Area of big circle = 3.14 r ^2

= 3.14 × 10 × 10

= 314 cm^2

Area of shaded circle = 314cm^2 - 28.26cm^2

= 285.74 cm^2

Hope this helps you :)
