Answer:

Area of Rectangle = l × b = 50 × 10 = 500

Area of Trapezium = 1/2 × h × ( sum of parallel lines)

=> 1/2 × 10 × (30+10)

=> But there are two Trapezium so

Area of 2 Trapezium = 40 × 10 = 400

Area of Figure = Area of Rectangle + Area of Trapezium

=> 500+400

=>900

Answer:

Area of polygon= area of rectangle+area of 2 trapeziums

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle=

length×breadth

l=50×b=10

=500cm²

Area of trapezium=

1/2×(sum of the parallel sides)×height

h=no. of trapeziums= 2

now 1 trapezium =50-70÷2=10.

1/2×(30+10=40)×10

=200cm²

Area of 2 trapeziums=200×2=400cm²

• AREA OF POLYGON=500+400=900CM²
