length of rectangle is 28cm.

diameter of each circle is 28÷2 equals to 14cm.

radius is half of diameter, equals to 7cm.

so area of 1 circle is πr². so, 22/7×7×7, equals to 154 cm². area of 2 circle is 154 times 2 equals to 308cm².

Breadth of rectangle is the diameter of circle. So, it is 14cm.

area of rectangle is 14×28=392cm².

area of shaded region= area of rectangle-area of 2 circles.

392-308=84

Area of shaded region is 84cm².

IF ASKED FOR EACH SHADED REGION, IT IS 84÷6=14.
