☆ Here,

  • Let the radius of small arc be OA.

  • And the radius of lager arc be OB.

☆ To find:-

  • Area of shaded region.

☆ Now,

▪︎ Area of small arc,

= ○/360 × pie × r².

= 60/360×22/7×(4cm)²

= 1/6×22/7×16cm²

{\large{\blue{\boxed{=\:352cm\:square/42}}}}

▪︎ Area of larger arc,

= ○/360 × pie × r².

=60/360×22/7×(10cm)²

= 1/6×22/7×100cm²

{\large{\blue{\boxed{=\:2200cm\:square/42}}}}

▪︎ Therefore area of shaded region,

= Area of larger arc-Area of smaller arc.

= (2200-352)cm²/42.

= 1848cm²/42.

= 924cm²/21

= 308cm²/7

{\large{\orange{\boxed{=\:44cm\:square}}}}

Therefore the area of shaded region is 44cm².
