Perimeter = 42cm

Two sides = 18cm and 10cm

Let, its third side be x

ATP

18+10+x = 42

=) 28+x = 42

=) x = 42-28

=) x = 14

Base = 14cm

Height = 10cm

Area = (½×base×height)

= (½×14×10)cm²

= 70cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1st side=18 cm

2nd side=10 cm

perimeter=42 cm

perimeter of a triangle=a+b+c

                           42 cm=18+10+c

                           42-18-10=c

                           14       = c

                   hence last side =14 cm

The sides of the following triangle are 18 cm, 10 cm and 14 cm.

18 cm is the highest so it will be the base

area of a triangle= 1/2 x base x height

                          =1/2×18×10

                          =90

hence answer is 90 cm
