Answer:

AREA = 30cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

PR^2 = PQ^2 + QR^2

PQ^2 = PR^2 - QR^2

PQ^2 = (13)^2 - (5)^2

PQ^2 = 169 - 25

PQ^2 = 144

PQ = 12

AREA OF TRIANGLE PQR

= 1/2×5×12

= 30 cm^2

hope this helps

In Triangle PQR

By pythagoras thereom ,

(PR) ^2 =( PQ)^2 + (QR)^2

25 = PQ^2 + 169

25 ‐ 169 = PQ^2

144 = PQ^2

PQ = 12 cm

Base = 5 cm

Height = 12 cm

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 5 × 12

= 6×5

= 30 cm^2

.: Area of triangle PQR is 30 cm per square .

HOPE IT HELPS YOU :‐)
