multiplying equation 1 by 2, we get

6x+4y=10 ---------(3)

now, subtract equation 3 rd from 2 nd equation

(6x+3y=12) - (6x+4y=10)

(6x+3y=12) - (6x-4y= -10)

6x-6x+3y-4y = 12-10

-y = 2

y = -2

put value y = - 2 in equation e rd ,we get

6x+4×-2=10

6x-8=10

6x= 10 +8

6x= 18

x =18/6

x = 3
