 \sf \: Area \:  of \:  triangle = \dfrac{1}{2}× base × height

 \sf \: Let \: base = b \: and \:  height=h

 \sf \: By \: Formula ,

 \displaystyle \sf \: 225 =  \frac{1}{2} \times b \times 15

 \displaystyle \sf \: 225 =  \frac{15}{2}b

 \sf \: Multiply \: both \: sides \: by \dfrac{2}{15}

 \sf \: b = 30cm

 \sf \: \therefore \: Breadth \: of \: triangle \: is \: 30cm

Given :-

Area of the triangle = 225 cm²

Height of the triangle = 15 cm

To Find :-

Base of the triangle :-

Formula used here :-

Area \: of \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

Solution Start :-

 =  > Area \: of \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \\  \\  =  > 225 \:  {cm}^{2}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times 15 \\  \\  =  > 225  \: {cm}^{2}  =  \frac{15}{2}  \times b \\  \\  =  >  \frac{225 \times 2}{15}  = b \\  \\  =  >  \frac{\cancel {225} \times 2}{\cancel {15}}  = b \\  \\  =  > 15 \times 2 = b \\  \\  =  >  \: 30 \: cm = base

Hence, Base of the triangle = 30 cm.
