Find common difference whose n term is 25 and an=3n+7

The common difference is 3. It's given in the question!


For any AP, the co-efficient of n of its algebraic expression is always the common difference of the AP.


In the algebraic expression 3n+7, 3 is the co-efficient of n. ∴ 3 is the common difference.


∵ For any AP, the algebraic expression is dn + (a - d). Here, d is the common difference and a is the first term. So it is very easy to find the common difference from the algebraic expression of an AP.
