 The \:mid \: point \:M(x,y) \:of \: the \:line

 segment \: joining \:the\: points \: (x_{1},y_{1})

 and \: (x_{2},y_{2})

 M(x,y) = \Big( \frac{x_{1} + x_{2}}{2} ,  \frac{y_{1} + y_{2}}{2}\Big)

 \red{ \therefore The \:mid \: point \:of \:the\:line  }

 \red{segment \: joining \:the \: points \: A(6,-2) }

\red{ B(-2,8) \:is }

 M(x,y) = \Big( \frac{6-2}{2}, \frac{-2+8}{2} \Big)

 = \Big( \frac{4}{2} , \frac{6}{2}\Big)

 \green{ = ( 2,3 )}

Therefore.,

 \red{ Mid \: point \:of \:line \: segment \:AB}

 \green{ = ( 2,3 )}
