To find:
• CSA of the cylindrical tank .
Solution :
• As we know that :
• Curved surface area of the cylinder = 2 π r h .
Where,
• r is radius and h is height of the cylinder .
• Radius = d/2 = 3.8/2 = 1.9 m
=> CSA of cylinderical tank = 2 π (1.9)(4.9)
=> CSA of cylinderical tank = 2 (22/7)(19/10)(49/10)
=> CSA of cylinderical tank = 58.52 m².
Hence ,the CSA of cylinderical tank is 58.52m².
