Answer:

Explanation:

V=RI     {ohm's law}

so,

   net resistance of second parallel combination

   ⇒1/R=1/6+1/8

   ⇒1/R=7/24

   ⇒R=24/2Ω

In 6Ω resistor

V=RI

V=6×2

V1=12V

Since it is parallel combination,the voltage is same across both resistors

V=RI1

12=8×I1

I1=1.5A

The whole circuit is in series

so, current i same in all resistors

now,

V=RI

V=4×(2+1.5)

V2=14V

VOLTAGE ACROSS WHOLE CIRCUIT IS 14 V

net resistance in third parallel system

1/R=1/8+1/20

1/R=7/40

R=40/7Ω,I=3.5,V=?

V=RI

V=40/7×3.5

V3=20V

In 8 Ω ,v=20v

20=8×I1

I2=2.5A

I3=200/20

I3=1A

SO THE CURRENT

IN 8Ω RESISTOR (I1)=1,5A

IN 20Ω RESISTOR(I3)=1A

IN 8Ω RESISTOR(12)=2.5A

voltage across the circuit =V1+V2+V3

                                          = 46V
