hey ,,, there !!!
adding resistance in series = 3.6+3.6 = 7.2ohm.
now ,
adding resistance in parallel = 1/3.6+1/7.2= 3/7.2 ohm = 7.2/3 = 2.4 ohm
now ,
total resistance = 3.6+2.4+3ohm
total resistance= 9 ohm.
now ,
current (I) = v/r
current (i) = 4.5/9 = 0.5 Ampere.
