4 ohm and 2 ohm are in series so = 6 ohm

6 ohm and the 6 ohm are parallel

1/r = 1/6 + 1/6 = 1/3ohm.....................(1)

r=3ohm

3 ohm and 9 ohm are in series = 12ohm

12 ohm and 12 ohm parallel

1/r = 1/12 + 1/12 = 1/6..........................(2)

r=6

6ohm and 3ohm are in series 6 + 3 = 9ohm

total current v/r = 9/9= 1A

current following through each  12 ohm resistence = 0.5A    (from(1)current  will get equaly divided in equal r)

current flowing through 6 ohm resistence = 0.25A     ( from(2) '' )

current flowing through ammeter is 0.25A
