Given :

  • Length of each side of cube = 8 cm

To find :

  • lateral surface area of LATERAL surface area of cube( LSA)

Formula used:

  • lateral surface area of cube( LSA)= 4 a²

where a is Length of each side of cube.

Solution :

Length of each side of cube = 8 cm

 \implies \: LSA = 4 {a}^{2}

now put a = 8

\implies \: LSA = 4 {(8)}^{2}

\implies \: LSA = 4  \times 8 \times 8

\implies \: LSA = 4 \times 64

\implies \: LSA = 256  \: {cm}^{2}

Answer :

lateral surface area of the given cube = 256 cm²

T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h

C.S.A of cone = πrl

T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)

C.S.A of cube = 4a²

T.S.A of cube = 6a²
