The diameter of hemisphere is 10cm.

Value of pie = 3.142

To find out,

The curved surface area and total surface area.

According to the question,

formula \: for \: curved \: surface \: area \: of \: hemisphere \:  =  \frac{2}{3}\pi {r}^{2}

As it is given, diameter = 10cm

then, the radius = 10/2 = 5cm

 = 2 \times 3.142 \times  {5}^{2}

 = 2 \times 3.142 \times 5 \times 5

 = 6.284 \times 25

157.1 {cm}^{2}

Therefore the curved surface area of the hemisphere is 157.1cm^2.

formula \: for \: total \: surface \: area \: of \: hemisphere \: is \: 3\pi \: r

 = 3 \times 3.142 \times 5

 = 6.284 \times 5

 = 31.42 {cm}^{2}

Therefore the total surface area of hemisphere is 31.42cm^2.
