Given : Area of the circle = 3140 m²

To Find : It's Diameter

Solution :

As we know ,

The area of a circle whose radius is r = πr²

3.14 × r² = 3140

r² = 3140/3.14

r² = 1000

r = √1000

Diameter = 2 r = 2 × √1000 = 2× 31.62 = 63.24 m

63.245 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Area of the circle = 3,140m²

Diameter = ?

Computation of radius

The area of a circle = \pi r^2

On putting the values in the above formula, we get

⇒  3,140 = \pi r^2

⇒  3140 = 3.14 x r²

⇒  r² = 3140/3.14

⇒  r² = 1000

⇒  r = √1000

⇒  r = 31.62 m

As we know,

Diameter = 2 x radius

⇒  = 2 x 31.62 m

⇒  = 63.245 m

Therefore the diameter of the circle will be "63.245 m".
