diagonal = 2√A

length of the side of the square= A

and as we know that all the angles (inner) of the square are of 90 degree.

therefore by using Pythagoras theorem we can find the diagonal as..

diagonal = √(A^2+A^2)

= √(2A^2)

=√2A = 2√A..
