Explanation:

The dimension of power is energy divided by time. In the International System of Units (SI), the unit of power is the watt (W), which is equal to one joule per second.

In SI base units: kg⋅m2⋅s−3

Derivations from other quantities: P = E/t; P = F·v; P = V·I; P = τ·ω

SI unit: watt (W)

Given : a) power, b) velocity, c) torque and d) force

To Find  :  dimensions ( dimensional formula )

Solution :

Force = Mass * acceleration

=  Mass * Velocity / time

= Mass * ( displacement / time) / time

=  Mass *   displacement / time ²

= M L T⁻²

Torque  = Force * distance

M L T⁻²  * L

= ML²T⁻²

Power = Wok done / time

= ML²T⁻² /T

=  ML²T⁻³

Velocity = Displacement / time

=  L T⁻¹
