According to the question,

Volume of cube = 4x² + 14x + 6

Taking 2 as a common factor,

→ Volume = 2(2x² + 7x + 3)

On factorising the equation,

→ Volume = 2(2x² + x + 6x + 3)

→ Volume = 2[x(2x + 1) + 2(2x + 1)]

→ Volume = 2[(x + 2)(2x + 1)]

∴ The dimensions are 2, (x + 2), (2x + 1)

Know more:

  • TSA of cube = 6a²
  • LSA of cube = 4a²
  • Area of square = Side²
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × Side
