Given point

 \sf \to \: P(2,5)  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  Q(-3,-2)

To find Distance between PQ

Formula

 \sf \to \: PQ =  \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1) {}^{2}  + (y_2 - y_1) {}^{2} }

By comparing with

 \sf \to \:P(x_1,y_1) \: and \: Q = (x_2 ,y_2)

We get

 \sf \to (x_1 = 2,y_1 = 5)  and (x_2 =  - 3 ,y_2 =  - 2)

Put the value on formula

\sf \to \: PQ =  \sqrt{( - 3 - 2) {}^{2}  + ( - 2- 5) {}^{2} }

\sf \to \: PQ =  \sqrt{(  - 5) {}^{2}  + (  - 7) {}^{2} }

\sf \to \: PQ =  \sqrt{25  + 49}

\sf \to \: PQ =  \sqrt{74}

Distance Between PQ Is(74) units
