Given,

A function x²/(1+x²).

To Find,

The domain and range of the function.

Solution,

Since the given function is

x²/(1+x²)

The numerator and denominator of this function will always have a value greater than 0.

So, the domain of the function will be (-∞,∞).

Now, to calculate the range we need to find the maximum and minimum value of the function.

The minimum value of this function will be zero, and the maximum value will be approaching towards 1.

So, the range of the function [0,1).

Hence, the domain of the function is R and the range of the function is [0,1).
