FIND dy/dx at x = 2 if y = 3x³+7x²+1

y = 3x³+7x²+1

Differentiating both sides w.r.t. x

dy/dx = 3×3x²+2×7x

= 9x²+14x

Now,

dy/dx at x = 2
= 9(2)²+14(2)

= 9×4+28

= 36+28 = 64
