y= root x + x

= x power 1/2 + x

dy/dx=d/dx(x power 1/2 +x)

= d/dx(x power 1/2) + d/dx(x)

= [1/2×x power (1/2)-1 ] + 1

= 1/2 × x power (-1/2) + 1

= (1/2 × 1/x power 1/2)+1

= (1/root x) + 1

=(1 + root x)/ root x
