4 ohms and 4 ohms in red ones( check the attachment) are in series and the other two 4 ohms that are marked in green are also in series and that they both are parallel to 6 ohms.

Now

Rs = R1 + R2 = 8 ohms

Rs = R4 + R5 = 8 ohms

Rp = 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/6 ( refer the statement mentioned earlier so that u can understand this step)

1/Rp = 10/24

Rp = 2.4 ohms

Hence the total resistance is 2.4 ohms.
