2 ohm +4 ohm =6 ohm (because these resistors are connected in series)

1/6+1/6=2/6

then r is equal to 3 ..(because these resistors are connected in parallel)

so R equivalent =3 ohm...

and current (I)=V/R

I=12/3=4 ampere
