Given

Hight of ladder = 300cm

distance between rungs = 100cm

total number of rungs = 3

tide speed = 15cm/hr

time = 6hour

distance rise of water = 15*6 = 90cm

so only bottom rungs will be inside in water since the distance between the two rungs is 100cm

and tide hight must be only 90 cm

1 rungs will be inside the water

• Height of ladder = 3m

=> 3 × 100

=> 300 cm

• Distance between rungs = 1 m

=> 1 × 100

=> 100 cm

• Total number of rungs = 3

• Speed of boat = 15 cm/hr.

_____________ [ GIVEN ]

We have to find the number of rungs that will be in water in six hours.

_____________________________

Speed of boat = 15 cm/hr and we have to find the number of rungs that will be in water in 6 hours.

So,

Distance = Speed × Time

=> Distance = 15 × 6

=> Distance = 90 cm

Now..

According to question, there are total 3 rungs and the distance between two rungs is 100 cm. But after calculations we get distance is 90 cm.

Distance between two rungs is 100 cm.

So, 100 - 90 = 10 cm

There will be only one rung that will be inside the water in six hours.
