Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2πr²

where π = 22/7 and r = radius

i) given diameter = 9.8 cm

radius = r = 9.8/2 = 4.9

Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2 × π × (4.9)²

= 2 × 22/7 × 49/10 × 49/10 = 150.92 cm²

ii) given diameter = 18.2 cm

radius = r = 18.2/2 = 9.1 cm

Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2 × π × (9.1)²

= 2 × 22/7 × 91/10 × 91/10 = 520.52 cm²

iii) given diameter = 70 cm

radius = r = 70/2 = 35 cm

Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2 × π × (35)²

= 2 × 22/7 × 35 × 35 = 7700 cm²

iii) given diameter = 70 cm

radius = r = 70/2 = 35 cm

Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2 × π × (35)²

= 2 × 22/7 × 35 × 35 = 7700 cm²

iv) given diameter = 1.4 m

radius = r = 1.4/2 = 0.7m

Curved Surface Area of Solid Hemisphere = 2 × π × (0.7)²

= 2 × 22/7 × 7/10 × 7/10 = 3.08 m²
