\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

A = x

B = 50°

C = y

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{To\:Find:-}}}}

Values of X and Y.

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}

◈ y + 120° = 180° (linear pair)

=> y = 180°-120°

=> \sf{\purple{\boxed{\purple{y \:=\: 60°}}}}

➙ Now, In Δ ABC :-

=> A+B+C = 180° (Angle sum property)

=> x + 50° + y = 180°

Substituting the value of 'y'

=> x + 50° + 60° = 180°

=> x + 110° = 180°

=> x = 180°-110°

=> \sf{\green{\boxed{\green{x\:=\:70°}}}}

Hope it helps.........

Answer:

x is 70° and y is 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

Here,

y+120°=180° (as it is straight angle)

1st equation,

The value of y is

y+120°=180°

》y=180°-120°=60° (120° becomes negative when brought right side)

Therefore the value of y is 60°.

According to angle sum property of triangle, we know that the sim of three angle is 180°.

So,

50°+x+60°=180° (from 1st equation y is 60°)

》110°+x=180° (by adding 50° and 60° is 110°)

》x=180°-110° (when 110° is brought right side it becomes negative)

》x=70°

So x is 70° and y is 60°.
