EXPLANATION

  • GIVEN

T3 = 34

T6 = 67

FIND FIRST FIVE TERM OF SEQUENCE

T3 = a + 2d = 34 ..... (1)

T6 = a + 5d = 67 ...... (2)

From equation (1) and equation (2)

we get,

-3d = - 33

d = 11

put d = 11 in equation(1)

we get,

a + 22 = 34

a = 12

First fifth term of ap

=> first term = a = 12

=> second term = a + d = 12 + 11 = 23

=> third term = a + 2d = 12 + 2(11) = 34

=> fourth term = a + 3d = 12 + 3(11) = 45

=> fifth term = a + 4d = 12 + 4(11) = 56

=> these terms are,

12,23,34,45,56
