LCM of denominators 5 and 2 = 10

Now, \frac{-2}{5} = \frac{-2}{5} × \frac{2}{2} = \frac{-4}{10} and \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{2} × \frac{5}{5} = \frac{5}{10}
