There are a lot more than 5 rationals between 3/10 and 4/10 :
3/10 = 30/100 and 4/10 = 40/100
so I can list 9 rationals easily between 3/10, and 4/10 ;
31/100, 32/100, 33/100, 34/100, 35/100, 36/100, 37/100, 38/100, 39/100
If you want 99 then :
3/10 = 300/1000 and 4/10 = 400/1000
So you can have 301/1000 to 399/1000
As I mentioned in my comment you can pick any two rational numbers no matter how small, and you can always find an infinite number of rational numbers between those two.
