we can find only one rational number between -1/2 and 1/2
to find 5 rational numbers let's multiply the numerator and denominator of both the numbers by 6.
By doing so we get,-6/12 and 6/12.
now we have enough rational numbers between -1/2 and 1/2.
5 rational numbers between them are -5/12,-4/12,-3/12,-2/12 and -1/12.

as we get only 1 rational number between them we multiply both the numbers by 6 or any number of ur choice note but both have to be multiplied by the same number
