Firstly we will make the denominator same.

-1/2 Here as we can see that the denominator is 2 so ,

2X2/1X2 = 4/2 So here is the 2nd number with same denominator

But as you can see we are getting only 2 rational number that is 2/2 and 3/2

So we have to multiply both numbers with 10 at denominator and numerator

-1X10/2X10 = 10/20

4X10/2X10 = 40/20

So here is the answer ,
