Find five rational numbers between  \sf { \dfrac{2}{3} } and  \sf { \dfrac{4}{5} }

 \implies Firstly let's make the both number's denominator same :–

  • LCM of 3 and 5 is 15.

 \sf { \dfrac{2}{3} \times \dfrac{5}{5}= \dfrac{10}{15}}

and

 \sf { \dfrac{4}{5} \times \dfrac{3}{3}= \dfrac{12}{15}}

Now multiply both by 10.

 \sf { \dfrac{10}{15} \times \dfrac{10}{10}= \dfrac{100}{150}}

 \sf { \dfrac{12}{15} \times \dfrac{10}{10}= \dfrac{120}{150}}

So, five rational numbers between  \sf { \dfrac{2}{3} } and  \sf { \dfrac{4}{5} } are:–

  •  \sf { \dfrac{111}{150} }

  •  \sf { \dfrac{112}{150} }

  •  \sf { \dfrac{113}{150} } ,

  •  \sf { \dfrac{114}{150} } ,

  •  \sf { \dfrac{115}{150} }

  •  \sf { \dfrac{116}{150} } .
