The rational number between a and b is (a + b)/2
Hence rational number between 2/3 and 8
2/3+8/2=2/3+4=(2+12)/3=14/3
rational number between 14/3 and 8
14/3+8/2=(14+12)/3=26/3
rational number between 26/3 and 8
26/3+8/2=(26+12)/3=38/3
rational number between 38/3 and 8
38/3+8/2=(38+12)/3=50/3
