Given numbers : -1 and 0.

Rational numbers between two numbers a and b is ( a + b) / 2.

Rational numbers between two numbers -1 and 0 is

= ( -1 + 0) / 2 = -1/ 2

rational numbers between two numbers -1 and -1/ 2 is

= (-1 + (-1/ 2)) / 2 = -3 / 4

rational numbers between two numbers -1/ 2 and 0 is

= (-1/ 2 + -3 / 4) / 2 = -5 / 8.

Rational numbers between two numbers -1 and -3 / 4

= ( - 1 + ( -3 / 4) ) / 2 = -7 / 8

Rational numbers between two numbers -3 / 4 and -7/8.

= ( -3/ 4 + ( -7 / 8) ) / 2 = -13 / 16
