First, let us do the LCM of the two numbers:
-3/5= (-3×2)/(5×2)= -6/10
-1/2= (-1×2)/(2×5)= -2/10
Now, let us multiply the numbers with (the no. of rational numbers we have to find + 1)
That is, here , no. of rational numbers we have to find is = 5 +1 = 6.
Now multiply: -6/10 × 6/6 = -36/60
-2/10×6/6= -12/60
Therefore, the five rational numbers are: -3/60, -4/60,-5/60,-6/60,-7/60.....

Hope this helps you.

Find Equivalent Fractions:

-3/5 = -6/10 = -12/20 = --18/30 = -24/40 = -30/50 = -36/60

-1/2 = - 5/10 = - 10/20 = -15/30 = -20/40 = -25/50 = -30/60

Stop when there is a difference of 5 between the 2 numerators:

-36/60 , -35/60 , -34/60, -33/60, -32/60, -31/60 , -30/60

Answer: -35/60 , -34/60, -33/60, -32/60, -31/60
