Concept:

The numbers that can be written in form of a fraction i.e. numerator upon denominator are called rational numbers.

Example: 3/7

Given:

We have given two numbers i.e. 3/7 and 5/7.

Find:

We have to find five rational numbers between 3/7 and 5/7.

Solution:

We can't get enough rational numbers between 3/7   and 5/7  so, we have to increase the denominator. So that their differences will also increase and for that both rational numbers should be multiplied by a same number only.

We will multiple both by 3 because it is the only smallest number which can make five rational numbers between them.

 \frac{3}{7}* \frac{3}{3}   =  \frac{9}{21}

 \frac{5}{7}* \frac{3}{3}  =  \frac{15}{21}

So the rational numbers now obtained are 9/21  and 15/21 . Now we can find five rational numbers between them.

Hence, five rational numbers between9/21 and 15/21 are: 10/21, 11/21, 12/21, 13/21, 14/21

Answer:

31/70, 32/70, 33/70, 34/70, 35/70

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 :- 3/7×10/10 = 30/70

5/7×10/10 = 50/70

Hence,

31/70,32/70,33/70,34/70,35/70
