to find 5 rational nos. between -4/5 and -2/3 we just need to make the denominator same by taking its LCM

Its LCM would be 15

So making the denominator 15 we get,

-12/15 and -10/15

Now, it's quite difficult to find 5 nos. from these to.

So we would get 5 rationals from its multiple by multiplying it with natural numbers, i.e we multiply it by 4. So the new no. so formed is

-48/60 and -40/60

Now, it's very easy to write 5 rationals between these 2 nos. which are actually multiples of -4/5 and -2/3

5 rationals between -4/5 and -2/3 are

  • -42/60
  • -45/60
  • -47/60
  • -43/60
  • -46/60

It took a lot of my efforts to explain u the solution of this question with explanation.
