Answer:

20/45, 21/45, 22/45, 23/45 & 24/45.

Step-by-step explanation:

Question:

Find five rational numbers between 3/5 and - 4/9.

Answer:

For find rational numbers between any two given rational numbers is superb easy. Just we've to make the denominators same.

By multiplying 9 to both numerator and denominator with 3/5 we obtain,

 \frac{3}{5} \times 9 = \frac{27}{45}

By multiplying 5 to both numerator and denominator with - 4/9 we obtain,

 \frac{-4}{9} \times 5 = \frac{-20}{45}

Now, the doubt arises:

Why only 5 and 9 should we multiply alternatively?

Answer: Because, we know that, LCM of 5 and 9 is 45. LCM is the first number which comes first in both the numbers (in simple words or it's basic meaning).

Now, both the denominators are same, so we may easily find out the rational numbers.

Five rational numbers between 27/45 and - 20/45 are,

20/45, 21/45, 22/45, 23/45 & 24/45.

You may write any other rational numbers too.
