As AB||CD we can find x and y:-

y+25°=65°[corresponding angles]

y+25°-25°=65°-25°

y=40°

Now ,

angle with 30° and 65° are in a straight line.

since all angles in straight line are in 180°

So that angle=180°-(65°+30°)

=180°-95°=85°

Now 85° and x and y are angles of the triangle.

Sum of angles of a triangle is=180°

x+y+85°=180°

x+40°+85°=180°

=x+125°=180°

=x=180°-125°=55°

Your answer:  x=55° and y=40°

Hope it helps.
