Let the four consecutive numbers be x, x+1, x+2 & x+3

A/q x+x+1+x+2+x+3 = 50

4x+6 = 50

4x = 44

x = 44/4 = 11

Hence,

x = 11

x+1 = 11+1 = 12

x+2 = 11+2 = 13

x+3 = 11+3 = 14

So, the numbers are : 11, 12, 13 and 14.

The value of 4 consecutive numbers are 11, 12, 13 and 14.

Given:-

Sum of 4 consecutive numbers = 50

To Find:-

The value of 4 consecutive numbers.

Solution:-

We can easily find out the value of 4 consecutive numbers by using these simple steps.

As

Sum of 4 consecutive numbers = 50

Now, Let the first number be x,

then other 3 numbers can be x+1, x+2 and x+3.

According to the question,

Sum of all the consecutive numbers will be equal to 50.

sum \: of \: consecutive \: numbers = 50

x + (x + 1) + (x + 2) + (x + 3) = 50

x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x +3  = 50

4x + 3 + 2 + 1 = 50

4x + 6 = 50

4x = 50 - 6

4x = 44

x =  \frac{44}{4}

x = 11

Now, other consecutive numbers = x+1, x+2 and x+3

i.e. Consecutive numbers = 11+1, 11+2, 11+3

So, other numbers are = 12, 13, and 14.

Hence, The value of 4 consecutive numbers are 11, 12, 13 and 14.
