Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Three time the largest number added to twice the smallest number is 93 which of these are prime number.

To Find :-

Four consecutive odd numbers.

Solution :-

Let the first number be x.

And the other numbers are be x + 2, x + 4, x + 6

According to the question,

⇒ 3(x + 6) + 2(x) = 93

⇒ 3x + 18 + 2x = 93

⇒ 5x = 93 - 18

⇒ 5x = 75

⇒ x = 75/5

⇒ x = 15

The numbers are :-

1st number = 15

2nd Number = 15 + 2 = 17

3rd  Number = 15 + 4 = 19

4th  Number = 15 + 6 = 21

The prime numbers are 17 and 19.

• Let four consecutive odd numbers be M, M + 2, M + 4 and M + 6

» If three time the largest number added to twice the smallest number is 93.

A.T.Q.

→ 3(M + 6) + 2(M) = 93

→ 3M + 18 + 2M = 93

→ 5M + 18 = 93

→ 5M = 93 - 18

→ 5M = 75

M = 15

_____________________________

From above calculations we have M = 15

So,

1st consecutive odd number = M = 15

2nd consecutive odd number = M + 2

→ 15 + 2 = 17

3rd consecutive odd number = M + 4

→ 15 + 4 = 19

4th consecutive odd number = M + 6

→ 15 + 6 = 21

Now.. what is prime number?

=> Numbers that are divisible by itself or by 1.

So, 17 and 19 are the numbers that are divisible by itself.
