 \frac{5}{7} \times \frac{5}{5} = \frac{25}{35} \\ \frac{6}{7} \times \frac{5}{5} = \frac{30}{35} \\

Four rational numbers between 5/7 and 6/7 are 26/35,27/35,28/35 and 29/35.

Concept :

An amount that can be expressed as a ratio is said to be logical. This indicates that it can be expressed as a fraction in which the numerator and denominator are both full numbers. Irrational numbers can never be stated as a fraction, whereas rational numbers can be written as a ratio. However, both of the numbers are genuine and can be shown on a number line. Positive, zero, and negative rational numbers are the three categories for rational numbers. Positive rational numbers have both positive and negative integers in the numerator and denominator, or vice versa.

Given:

5/7 , 6/7

To Find:

Four rational number between 5/7 , 6/7

Solution:

According to the problem,

Given numbers are 5/7 , 6/7

Now, 5/7 ×5/5 = 25/35

and, 6/7 × 5/5 = 30/35

Four rational numbers between 5/7, 6/7 are 26/35,27/35,28/35 , 29/35.

Hence the four rational numbers are 26/35,27/35,28/35 , 29/35.
