Given:

  • Two Rational numbers are given to us.
  • The numbers are 2/7 and 3/7.

To Find:

  • Four Rational Numbers between them.

Answer:

Now here we are given two Rational numbers 2/7 and 3/7 and between them we are required to find 4 Rational numbers.

So ,How will we find?

Firstly we will check whether the two numbers are like fractions or not , meaning to say that whether they have same denominator or not . If not ,then we will first make their denominators same . Secondly , we will multiply the numerator and denominator with one more number than the numbers we are asked to find.

Here, we can already see that the numbers are like fractions ,

We are asked to find 4 Rational numbers, so we will multiply numerator and denominator with 5.

2/7 = 2×5/7×5 = 10/35.

3/7 = 3×5/7×5 = 15/35.

Hence 4 Rational numbers are

  • 11/35
  • 12/35
  • 13/35
  • 14/35.
